In 2001, Mrs.Qiu Shuwei was awarded the Diplôme d 'études supérieures de l' ecole normale de musique de Paris with a unanimous vote of the jury and has been teaching in the Department of Vocal Music of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music since 2002.

In 2008, she was honored by the World Women's Forum as ''Outstanding Woman of Asia'' and the World Bank's Artistic Performer Award''.In 2009, she was awarded the ''Friendship Contribution Award'' by the U.S. Naval Academy; in 2012, she was honored by the City of Northern France as the ''Best Singer of the Year''. In 2012, she was awarded ''Honorary Citizen'' by the city of St. Martin Ouray in northern France, and in 2021, she was awarded ''Chevalier de l'ordre des Arts et des Lettres'', by the French government. Since 2004, She has collaborated with many world-class musicians in Europe, Asia, and the United States, focusing on the study and singing of French musical works, organizing dozens of solo concerts of French musical works of different periods, and being invited by domestic and foreign music colleges to open the French art song vocal masterclasses and academic lectures on French art song and other courses. She has been invited by music institutes at home and abroad to give master classes and academic lectures on French art songs, and has given a series of lectures on French art songs on Shanghai Radio Classics 947, and her

CD ''Qiu Shuwei Sings Ravel'' has been collected by the Library of Congress, the U.S. National Folklore Center, and famous universities in

the United States.

In recent years, she has published three CD albums and one DVD in China, France and the U.S.A.

She has independently translated two books of French literature and published them by the People's Literature Publishing House, and in 2021 and 2022, the Shanghai Conservatory of Music Publishing House will publish the independently authored ''Collection of Debussy's Classic Songs'' and ''Collection of Ravel's Classic Songs''among others.
