Roxana Nite is a distinguished soprano and the visionary Artistic Director and Vocal Coach of Clyde Opera in Glasgow, Scotland.

With a passion for music that extends beyond opera, she has also excelled as a skilled piano teacher and choir instructor, making significant contributions to the classical music community. In recognition of her efforts in promoting culture, Roxana was honored in 2022 with the Order of “Cultural Merit” in the Rank of Knight by the President of Romania, Mr. Klaus Iohannis.

Her remarkable talent has enchanted audiences across Europe, with performances in Romania, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK. Roxana's repertoire includes roles such as Adina in L’Elisir d’Amore by Donizetti, Dorabella in Così fan tutte and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, both by Mozart, as well as the Countess in The Marriage of Figaro and Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus by Strauss. She has also portrayed the Soprano in Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme by A. Enescu, Veta in A Stormy Night by P. Constantinescu, and roles of Hebe and L’Amour in Les Indes Galantes by Rameau. Moreover, Roxana has headlined as Tosca and Micaëla in Carmen by Bizet.

In Scotland, Roxana has been a featured soloist in prestigious choral and orchestral works, including Missa Criolla by A. Ramírez, Christmas Oratorio by Saint-Saëns, The Armed Man by Jenkins, and major Requiems by Brahms, Fauré, Mozart, Verdi and more.
As the founder and Artistic Director of Clyde Opera, Roxana is dedicated to nurturing emerging operatic talent, currently producing a new rendition of Carmen.

In addition to her performance career, Roxana began directing opera, where she combines her artistic vision with a deep understanding of vocal technique and stagecraft.
She is also a founding member of both the Romanian Orthodox Church and the Romanian Community Centre in Edinburgh, actively fostering cultural connections around Scotland.
